Anger

Anger is an emotional state that may range from minor irritation to intense rage. The physical effects of anger include increased heart rate, blood pressure, and levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline. Some view anger as part of the fight or flight brain response to the perceived threat of pain. Anger can lead to many things physically and mentally. Modern psychologists view anger as a primary, natural, and mature emotion experienced by all humans at times, and as something that has functional value for survival. Anger can mobilize psychological resources for corrective action. Uncontrolled anger can however negatively affect personal or social well-being.Well in my case sometimes I want to kick, break, crush, scratch, break everyone into tears, interrupt and separate from the clinch, smash ,bang up, hit, torn, blah, blah and blah. I hate, hate and hate everything for a while. I wish to do all those acts in reality but that was kind a my inner feelings like Arghh.. I starts looking to cool down myself change my aggression and negativism. The techniques which help me are to change the situation, stay away for a lil time or time out, go for exercise or a walk, listening music, sometimes shed tears and share with my sweet pillows only etc . As I mentioned in my early article do not lose your control. Control your anger before it controls you.

In Psychology anger is viewed as a form of sexual reaction and healthy response that has evolved to enable us to deal with threats.Three types of anger are recognized by psychologists: The first form of anger, named "hasty and sudden anger" by Joseph Butler, an 18th century English bishop, is connected to the impulse for self-preservation. It is shared between humans and animals and occurs when tormented or trapped. The second type of anger is named "settled and deliberate" anger and is a reaction to perceived deliberate harm or unfair treatment by others. These two forms of anger are episodic. The third type of anger is however inherited and is related more to character traits than to instincts or cognition, irritability, sullenness and churlishness postures are examples of the last form of anger. Anger is a strong feeling of displeasure but completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. But when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems. Anger can be suppressed, and then converted or redirected. This happens when you hold in your anger, stop thinking about it, and focus on something positive.

Techniques to control your anger...

> Go for a walk or do some physical exercise
> If you have to, take yourself out of a situation /meeting .
> Self talk , I always do that for me it is really working.
> Say STOP! STOP! To your negative thinking.
> Try to explore yourself and identify your angry? Find the solution.
> Drink water
>Practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing exercises, meditation or yoga.
>Reducing your stress levels by praying, having a massage, listening to music or reading a book.
>Doing something creative such as painting , sketching, writing poetry or scrap booking.
>Once you cool down speaking to a close family member or friend about how angry you feel.
> Forgive but do not forget. Try not to repeat the same mistake by convincing yourself you did the wrong. Allow yourself to approach the situation and express your concerns in a rational and logical manner.
>Allow others to be right. Allow yourself to be wrong. Assume the best not the worst. Learn to let go. Forgive yourself and others. Respect yourself and others. Do your full medical check up on the regular basis.

God bless and keep smiling!

Emotional & Behavior Disorder

Sometimes we take it very lightly and it causes more harm day by day to our self , dear ones and the surroundings . Too many lives involve in it and we are trying to harm them and our self directly or indirectly. Don't you use these world "Fuck him, Fuck her or Fuck the world" Oppss excuse my french. That is the time to stand up and take a step toward asking yourself and others “You need a help” or “You need a support” There is no harm or shame in it. As I mentioned it several times before human being is very sensitive creator and a social animal. We need help of others in many stages of life.

Emotional disorder any mental disorder not caused by detectable organic abnormalities of the brain and in which a major disturbance of emotions is predominant or emotional illness. Whereas emotions is actuated, effected, or determined by emotion rather than reason: An emotional decision is often a wrong decision. Behavior governed by emotion: He/she is in a highly emotional state of mind.

Why it occurred? Biology can be a factor. Behavior disorders may be inherited through one's genes, due to a chemical imbalance in the brain or occur as a result of brain injury. The person’s surroundings can also come into play. If the youth has been exposed to abuse, extreme stress, a death or loss in the family, and/or violence, he/she is more likely to develop these disorders.

Sign of Emotional or Behavioral disorders are;-

• Frequent sadness, tearfulness, or crying.

• Feelings of hopelessness.

• Withdrawal from friends and activities.

• Abuse your dear ones verbally or physically

> Lack of enthusiasm or motivation.

• Decreased energy level.

• Major changes in eating or sleeping habits.

• Increased irritability, agitation, anger or hostility.

• Frequent physical complaints such as headaches and stomachaches.

• Indecision or inability to concentrate.

• Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt.

• Extreme sensitivity to rejection or failure.

• Pattern of dark images in drawings or paintings.

• Play that involves excessive aggression directed toward oneself or others, or involves persistently sad themes and inner insecurity.

• Recurring thoughts or talk of death, separation or self-destructive behavior.

Diagnosis related with Emotional and Behavior disorder are;-

ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder) - In children we find trouble paying attention to anything, is impulsive in decisions, and is constantly active in a way that is not normal for the child’s age. The child cannot be still and is easily distracted by anything that crosses his/her path. Make sure you visit a doctor before self-diagnosing this disorder. It can also be treated with medicine.

Severe Depression - symptoms are a loss of interest in usual activities, no excitement, extreme sadness, changes in appetite and/or sleeping patterns, and a feeling of insecurity , hopelessness. A person with severe depression does not have much value towards life and can be at-risk of suicide and other self-destructive behaviors. Friends and family members should take suicide threats seriously, as most people who commit suicide have given at least some warning signs.

Eating Disorders - The two eating disorders that are most common, especially in young people, are anorexia and bulimia. Anorexia is a condition of excessive weight loss that occurs when the person starves him/herself. Bulimia is described by a cycle of “binge and purge”, which is when a person eats a large amount and then vomits it up, so as not to gain the weight. These disorders, however, are less about the weight that is gained and more about the person’s struggle to gain control over themselves.

Bipolar Disorder - There is a lot of evidence that suggests this condition is due more to biology than to experiences in a person's family life. The person suffers from “highs and lows”, feeling happy one second, then depressed the other. They can jump from one mood to the next, spending a lot of money and having little sleep in their “happy” phase, then crying and sleeping all the time in their “sad” phase. This can be worked through with therapy and medicine.

There are also disorders which cannot be put into any certain category. A person suffers from emotions and behaviors where he/she feels the constant need to be in control, is always angry or depressed, practices a great deal of violence and/or disrespect towards others, and may practice substance abuse (underage drinking/drugs). The way to get through these disorders, as well as the named disorders above, is with a lot of patience. The family/friends of the person should build up self-esteem and confidence, knowing that no mental/emotional disorder is easy to get through.
